The Lightning ePTO, an electric power take-off, drives the hydraulic system responsible for operating utility equipment. Integrating the Lightning ePTO into utility equipment enables the truck engine to run solely during the transportation between jobs, leading to reduced diesel emissions.

Custom Truck's Kansas City Headquarters has partnered with the Kansas City Missouri Police Department and regional bomb dog units. These amazing K9s keep our community safe by detecting potential explosive devices at big events like the NFL Draft. Custom Truck One Source has provided their campus and large vehicles as a recurring resource for the K9's training and recertifications.
Custom Truck One Source Building H - Subbase Production Line
Custom Truck's newly renovated Building H — the largest expansion project in CTOS history — is located in Kansas City, MO and spans 220,000 square feet. This state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to Load King manufacturing, fabrication, paint, warehousing, parts, shipping, receiving, and more, marking a major milestone in our growth and innovation for the company.
The Subbase Production Line, located within Building H, was designed using Lean Manufacturing principles. The result? Increased output and efficiency, with less waste. Implementing this new line has given CTOS the capability to produce a TC55 or 4047 subbase every 45 minutes to an hour while cutting down on processing waste.
